Low glare lighting Technical Specifications
Our Category 1, 2 and 3 lights have been specially designed
to conform to the latest European low glare directives.
They are made with a chemically polished and anodised aluminium which produces
a high grade permanent mirror finish.
And we make them to fit your particular lights, whether you have a standard
exposed grid ceiling or not.

Category 1 Our Category 1 lights are designed for areas with a high density of computer screens, such as dealer rooms or telesales areas, which may be used over long periods of time. |

Category 2 This category is for areas with a widespread use of computer screens, normally one screen to a desk, such as general offices. |
 Category 2 requires that luminance above 65° from the vertical does not exceed 200 cd/mē |

Category 3 These lights are made for areas where the task requires only casual use of screens or where the density of screens is relatively low, such as reception areas. |
 Category 3 requires that luminance above 75° from the vertical does not exceed 200 cd/mē |
