Case study - How Vax Appliances saved £5,231 every year and kept the same level of light

Vax Appliances are a manufacturer of vacuum cleaners based in Droitwich, Worcestershire. They recently had 289 Mirror Reflectors installed by the Energy Conservation group.

These unique reflectors have been specially developed to reflect twice the amount of light from each fluorescent tube. So the number of tubes can be halved while still keeping the same level of light.

It is surprisingly quick and simple to fit each Mirror Reflector. In fact, the trickiest part of the operation was fitting the installation in around Vax's busy production schedule. So all the installation was done out of normal working hours.

Vax took advantage of the one month's free trial before committing themselves to a decision, but fitting the reflectors saves Vax £5,321 every year on their electricity bill so they were more than satisfied. They then took the 24 month interest free payment plan and had saved the cost before they paid it.
